OUR STORY
The GESTALT CENTRE offers a suite of services inspired by relational gestalt theory.
Our Gestalt Therapy Australia Training program has been offering a nationally and internationally renown psychotherapy training program and professional development program for nearly 25 years. Our dedicated and experienced GTA faculty support a developmental and experiential
learning process that supports students to deepen their relational capacities.
With nearly 50 students enrolled across the 4 years of the program, GTA is an active and responsive place to study.
Since 2014 the ConnectGround Gestalt Clinic has offed low cost counselling and psychotherapy to a wide range of clients from the community. Staffed by 3rd and 4th year GTA student interns and graduate volunteers the clinic operates 2 full days a week and we see about 65 clients a week. ConnectGround staff provide intake and referral support and individual and group supervision to support the clinic team.
ConnectGround also offer group therapy and other group based programs.
In 2019 we launched Relational Skills. This new venture consolidates the work that we are already doing with other organisations and teams and will deliver a new accredited supervision training program in 2020.
