COUNSELLING/
PSYCHOTHERAPY
We can offer short term counselling or long term psychotherapy and do not limit the number of sessions you can receive.
-
People seek out counselling for a broad range of reasons and there are no specific eligibility criteria to attend our centre.
-
Our counselling and psychotherapy services are offered by both interns who are currently enrolled in the latter years of training program at Gestalt Therapy Australia (GTA) and graduates of other training programs, offering general counselling.
-
Our interns are provided with a range of supports and supervision by the GTA teaching faculty, shift supervisor, senior therapist and clinic manager.
REFERRAL PROCESS
-
The referral process involves an initial phone intake with the Shift Supervisor. After an initial screening we will either refer you to one of our counsellors or place you on a waitlist
-
If we do not believe we can offer you a service, we will support you to find an appropriate referral
